Room 7 Fun

Term 2 has flown by! We have been busy in Room 7. Check out what we have been up to!

We got some new Duffy books. Thank you Duffy! We love them.


We celebrated Samoan Language Week.


We have been doing some art.

We have been visiting the library lots. Piwhara even read us a story. Lucky us!



We have been learning new things in PMP, PE and netball. We are so clever!






We visited Merle Leask. We were so good at following road safety rules.





We have been learning lots of maths skills. We are great at working together with our Numicon shapes.

We said goodbye to Abbey! We loved working with her.


We have been enjoying our big books. 


We have been learning about Space. We created Suns and Moons with pastels and added a fact that we know! 



We found some new glasses in our dress up box. We thought they were funky.

Room 7's Busy Bees

 Wow! Week 5 already. Term 4 is flying by. We have been awesome learners, listeners and friends in Room 7. We have been working hard on our drawing skills. Our self portraits look amazing! We have been talking lots about our families. We drew them in our hearts.  We have been working on our ball skills. We even got some basketball lessons. We were very excited.  We had Sean the Police Officer in visiting. We loved asking questions. We even got to see the police cars flashing lights and siren! We have done some more learning on patterns. We are getting super confident. We love reading in Room 7. We are getting really good! We are always working hard to make our handwriting and structured drawing our best. We have been learning all about electricity. Our focus the last couple of weeks was magnets. We went for a hunt around the classroom to see what we could find.

A Fantastic Start to 2024!

2024 has been fantastic so far. We have loved meeting our new friends and exploring our new school. There is so much to learn!  Here are our wonderful Room 7 friends so far. We have been doing awesome art. We have been exploring our shapes in maths. We have been doing some great handwriting. We have been learning through play based activities. We have been trying our best in everything we do. We have visited our wonderful school library.  We celebrated our first week at school!

Term 3 Week 3 & 4

Another busy couple of weeks in Room 7 but we always have a smile on our faces! We have had some new people join our classroom. We have celebrated Cook Island Language We have been doing some amazing writing and published some art to go with it! Check out our ice creams and caves! We were super swimmers! We visited Merle Leask. We had so much fun!  We have been loving Kai for Kids We have been thinking really hard in maths. We have been super focused with our handwriting and structured drawings! We are loving books!
