Rūma 7 Kiwi Blog

The last 2 weeks have been very busy in Room 7. We have been doing lots of amazing things. Our topic this term is space. We created some wonderful artwork for our school hall and wrote stories about being on the moon. We ran assembly this week. We did lots of work using our loud voices. Our focus was Excellence. We have done lots of exploration through play. Room 7 are a great bunch of friends. Fractions Fun! We planted a tree for the Kings coronation. We have been working hard on writing our name! We were super runners at Cross Country on Tuesday! It was so much fun taking a bus ride to get there. We have been learning new skills in PE with Jennifer. We created some presents for our mums, nanas and aunties and other special women in our lives for Mothers Day!

As we head into Term 2 we have been looking at what we got up to at the end of Term 1! Check it out. We got our Duffy books for the Term! So exciting! Thank you Duffy. We celebrated Easter by getting creative. We made easter baskets, easter hats and did some wonderful writing. We have been working on our art skills. We worked hard to draw and colour these parrots.
